Children Of Bodom will play at Sonisphere Spain held in Madrid, Spain on May 25-26. Other acts confirmed are METALLICA, SOUNDGARDEN, SLAYER, WITHIN TEMPTATION, MASTODON, KYUSS LIVES!, GOJIRA, CLUTCH, ORANGE GOBLIN, SKINDRED, GHOST, SISTER, VITA IMANA… and many more to be announced soon.
Also, the band will play in Cracow, Poland with Cannibal Corpse on June 26th.

The band just finished off their "Wild Xmas 2011" mini tour in Finland on the New Year's Eve at Club Teatria in Oulu, Northern Finland. The Hate Crew is currently preparing for the "15th Anniversary" North American tour, starting on January 28 from Charlotte, NC, running all the way through to Baltimore, MD for the last show on March 4.
Prior to this, COB will head out to Miami, FL for "70,000 Tons of Metal", The World's Biggest Floating Heavy Metal Festival. It'll take a total of 40 bands and 2,000 fans for a 4-day Caribbean adventure on a luxury cruise ship.

CHILDREN OF BODOM have announced a North American headlining tour in celebration of the band’s 15th Anniversary. Presented by ESP in association with Full Metal Jackie, the quindecennial trek will kick off on January 30, 2012 in Rochester, NY and run through March 4, hitting 26 cities over the course of the five week jaunt. Support on the CHILDREN OF BODOM anniversary tour will come from Swiss folk metal band Eluveitie, Boston extreme metal band Revocation and Canada’s Threat Signal.

COB won't perform at Global East Festival

Children Of Bodom is forced to cancel their performance at the Global East Festival in Ukraine due to the local promoter not being able to fulfill his end of the contract. The band regrets not being able to play for their Ukrainian fans and hopes to receive another opportunity to play in Ukraine soon.
The band's upcoming tour dates include Wacken Open Air in Germany, and two shows in Russia in September. More Children Of Bodom live dates for "The Ugly World Tour" will be announced in the near future.

Children Of Bodom hits the road again starting tomorrow, when the band performs at the legendary Download Festival in Donington Park, UK. The book shoot for the first ever Children Of Bodom photo book (out later this fall) starts tonight at the band's concert in Warsaw, Poland! The photography will continue tomorrow in Prague, and in many of our other upcoming shows this year.
The photo book is dedicated to the whole worldwide Hate Crew and that´s why we want you to be in it. We´ve been shooting life on the road, the Hate Crew and all kinds of crazy shit for over two years. We´ll let you know soon how you can submit your own photos for the book and for other fans to see.

Hard partying (and harder rocking) Finnish band CHILDREN OF BODOM (or COB) has announced a North American headlining tour in support of their new album Relentless Reckless Forever which landed at #41 on the Billboard Top 200 in its first week of release. Brought to you by Guitar World and Revolver, the North American leg of CHILDREN OF BODOM's "Ugly World Tour" will kick off in Los Angeles on June 24 and run through July 24 in Montreal where COB will perform alongside KISS, Motörhead and more as part of the "Heavy MTL" hard rock festival.

Children Of Bodom's new, highly acclaimed Relentless Reckless Forever album has sold 100,000+ copies worldwide right upon its release, and the band's seventh studio outing has also already been certified gold (10,000+ copies) in the band's home country Finland.
The band's bass player Henkka Blacksmith comments:

Children Of Bodom hits the road with Ensiferum and Machinae Supremacy on March 19th, when The Ugly World Tour 2011 kicks off from Oulu, Finland. The tickets for the tour are moving incredibly fast; the show in Paris sold out months before the show, and the Prague concert was moved to Hall Folimanka once the originally planned venue turned out to be too small for the demand.

The Prague show on the upcoming European tour, starting in March from Finland and crossing Europe left and right until mid-May, was getting close to sold out so the venue has now been changed to a bigger one, namely Hall Folimanka.
The tickets are moving fast on other cities, too, but a similar change of venue is not possible on all locations. We strongly recommend you to buy your ticket early so you won't risk missing the show in your town!

You can now give "Ugly", the track no. 6 off the band's highly anticipated Relentless Reckless Forever album, a spin on Facebook.
"Ugly is in my TOP2 list of the album", says the band's bass player Henkka T. Blacksmith. "I love the beginning. I love the Covenant style verse and the punk chorus. The weird prechorus or 2nd verse, i dont know how u call it, is a really good riff, and it shuffles the structure of the song by ending the song too. The solo on the very simple solo background is really groovy. This is a simple but heavy one!"
